How Hemp May Be Able to Help Save Honey Bees – Medical Marijuana, Inc. News

There are so many things that can be manufactured from hemp, but did you know that the hemp plant has a positive impact on the environment as well?

Hemp can be used as a “mop crop” to clear impurities or other unwanted substances or chemicals out of wastewater. Additionally, hemp is being used to clean contaminants at the Chernobyl nuclear disaster site, by clearing radioisotopes and a variety of other toxins from the soil, water, and air.

And now hemp comes to the aid of Mother Nature once again as it is now a solution to saving the bees! This is important because bees play a significant role in the ecosystem by pollinating around one-third of the global food supply.

“A new study from researchers at Colorado State University investigates how industrial hemp could be a solution for the declining bee population.”
